Graduate Sales Associate

Looking for a high-energy Graduate Sales Associate with interest in the AV/technology industry. The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of sales. Primary duties include collaborating with senior team to implement the company’s sales plan to drive revenue growth and attending key events to generate leads. Execute appropriate sales strategies and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability.

Full-time. £18-25k basic salary negotiable dependent on experience; plus bonus & commission Location: Manchester (Territory: UK)

R&W Venue Technologies is an audio visual systems integration company (corporate and education projects) based in Manchester.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Work to generate new relationships and turn clients into repeat customers
  • Help execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
  • Work with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company's values, products, services, processes and current partnerships for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends; analysing trends and results; and undertaking research activities
  • Take an active role in presenting to, and communicating with the senior team on sales activities and results, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors etc.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to effectively promote the company’s services and products
  • Maintain work schedule and plan, monitor and appraise job results
  • Work with the Sales, Account Management and Operations teams to implement targeted sales strategy
  • Assist in generating and maintaining accurate account and opportunity plans and related sales documents
  • Report on KPIs related to leads and opportunities, analyse pipeline and lead data, and deliver periodic reporting to the Sales and Marketing teams providing key business insights

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in analysing data, building reports and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
  • Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems
  • Genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to driving sales through creative sales and marketing ideas, events and face to face with our customers past, present and future
  • Ability to meet or exceed targets
  • Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Ability to position products against competitors
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and work to tight deadlines

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
